2023 Euros – Day 4 highlights

Day 4 brought intense competition and impressive performances that you won’t want to miss. 

Currently, top Australian team at these Euros are the 49erFX team of Laura Harding and Annie Wilmot in 9th place. In the Nacra17, Brin Liddell and Rhiannan Brown are 11th just on the edge of a Medal Race spot. In the 49er fleet, Jim Colley and Shaun Connor are in 31st and out of the running for a Medal Race spot.

1) 49er/FX: Norway move to the top in close FX battle

At the end of Day 4, Norway’s Helene Næss and Marie Ronningen claimed the lead, overcoming a challenging start. Meanwhile, New Zealand, Austria and Poland are battling it out for 1st place in the 49er and the Olympic qualifying battle heats up as Ireland’s Robert Dickson and Sean Waddilove make significant moves, while Belgium faces setbacks.
