25 days to go till the Olympics!

The 49er and FX skiffs gave us a taste of the Olympics this summer in the YCPR Magic Regatta! šŸ‡µšŸ‡± Buksak and Weirzbicki (POL 49er) showed that they are ready for an Olympic medal, dominating throughout the event last weekend. šŸ… Fischer and Pequin (FRA) secured second, while Bildstein and Hussl (AUT) claimed third! šŸ„‰

The FX regatta saw ups and downs, with Gronblom and Hokka (FIN) emerging victorious, in second place were the ever-improving Maenaut and Geurts (BEL)Ā and inĀ third overall was the French junior team of Peyre and Stamminger, who will not race in Marseilles but are heading to the Junior World Championship in Galicia in mid-July.Ā

We also caught up withĀ French veterans, Julien Dā€™Ortoli and Noe Delpech, who officially retired following this regatta. They had already retired once but came back to the fleet for the chance to represent France at a home olympics. Showing they still have the form, they won the final race of the regatta, and shared their thoughts with us as a fond farewell!
