To succeed in the 470 Men’s class, you need a strong tactical mind and the technique to back it up. The physicality and skillsets of the sailors has changed in recent years but the leading contenders have adapted. For most of the past five years since Rio 2016, the fight for 470 supremacy has swung back and forth between three men’s teams – the Swedes, the Spanish and the Australians. Expect them to battle it out once again at #Tokyo2020.
