Sun Fast 3600 results recognised by Euro media

The Jeanneau Sun Fast 3600 has just been named IRC Boat of the Year by the UNCL: 'Union Nationale pour la Course au Large'.

The UNCL judging panel is composed of journalists from a variety of European marine media including Couse au Large, Voiles et Voiliers, Voile Magazine, and Seahorse Magazine.

This year the Sun Fast 3600 distinguished itself at the Giraglia Rolex Cup and other European races monitored by the UNCL. It has also gained podium finishes in the United Kingdom, Italy, Australia and New Zealand.

Jeanneau yachts say this award once again affirms its collaboration with Jeanneau and Andrieu Yacht Design, the designer of the boat.

The Sun Fast 3600 benefits from the latest advances in vacuum-bagged resin infusion to ensure exceptional strength and rigidity while drastically reducing weight. The lightweight, powerful hull with its hard chine, twin rudders and lead keel contributes to this new Sun Fast’s speed, balance and stability on all tacks. Adaptable to solo, doublehanded and crewed regattas, the Sun Fast 3600 is designed to compete in both inshore and offshore races.

Available with twin, composite tillers or wheel steering and choices in mainsheet management, the deck layout ensures easy handling through well thought-out ergonomics and optimised sailing functions.
