2015 marks the launch of the inaugural Sydney Race Village at the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia, Rushcutters Bay.
One of the highlights of the Village is set to be the Sydney Hobart Food and Wine Fair, which kicked off today.
Comprising of growers, brewers, wine makers and boutique food vendors from Sydney and surrounds and from Hobart, the Fair is free to the public. The gourmet food and wine offerings will be further enhanced by music and entertainment, all set against the stunning backdrop of Sydney Harbour.
Vendors include Hungerford Hill Wines, Wollombi Wines, Moorebank Vineyard Estate, Noyce Brothers Wine, Wynwood Estate Hunter Valley, Tintilla Estate Wines, Wild Oats Wines, Misty Glen Wines, Edge Brewing Project, Ding The Recipe, Musto Clothing, Savannah Estate and Petersons Wines.
The event is also attracting a great range of food trucks including Berlin Bangers, Caminito Chorizo, Eat Art Truck / Sumo Salad, Lord of the Beans and Gelatony.
The Food and Wine Fair will be open until 4pm today and again tomorrow from 10am to 4pm.
