Challenging conditions for B14 Nationals and Worlds

Nationals
A championship to remember, 3 days sailing 2 blown out, which resulted in a 4 race, one day regatta sailed in under 10 knots. Newcomers to the class, Brent and Lee managed to put everything together to take the Championships over Sydney class stalwarts Richie and Lissa and Canberra sailors Andre and Craig. The next Nationals are being held at Midway Point in Tasmania in the 2016 new year.

Worlds
One of the closest world championships on record and a first for local favourite Guy Bancroft to secure a world championship at his home club, 12 years after the first attempt. Wind conditions gave all crews a chance to show their strengths, but consistency across all the breezes was what won the overall championship. The next world championships are scheduled for Lake Garda, Italy in mid-2016.
