Crewsaver, a Survitec brand and supplier of safety and survival equipment to the leisure marine industry, is introducing two new compact and quick-to-inflate boats in a development that marks the company’s entry into the inflatable boat market.
“Survitec is well recognised as a leading rescue boat supplier to the commercial marine and defence industries. As such, we are well positioned to transfer these technologies into an inflatable boat range for the leisure industry, helping to ensure a design and build quality that our customers can trust and rely on,” said Matt Bridge, Commercial Director, Survitec.
The Crewsaver brand is known as a supplier of lifejackets and safety equipment to the leisure sector, with a history going back more than 60 years.
The boat range has been designed to suit a number of different uses, such as a tender for yacht transfers or for those simply looking for some small boat fun on the water.
Crewsaver Inflatable Boats are designed for up to three persons, with three sizes ranging from 185m to 260m in length.
Quick to inflate and deflate by way of one-touch inflation valves, the design features a PVC laminated solid transom which can be fixed to stern davits by using integral davit eyes and a davit ring. Additional stainless-steel lifting points on the outside of the bow facilitate towing and lashing operations.
Every Crewsaver Inflatable Boat is kitted out with a high-capacity pump, repair kit, two paddles, mooring lines, a sliding alloy seat, and a carry valise.
The new Crewsaver inflatable boat range will be available this northern spring.
