The Telegragh (UK). By Sir Ben Ainslie:
What a 12 months it has been. I was not sure that much could top the experience of the America's Cup last autumn but the thrill of setting up a new team, virtually from scratch, working with such a talented group of people to reach in the position we find ourselves in now, has been incredible. I could not be more excited about the future of Ben Ainslie Racing heading into 2015.
To top it all off I got engaged to Georgie Thompson a couple of months ago and we will be getting married over the festive period. Truly, this has been a remarkable year.

Actually, I got it on the way out there, which made the event a bit of a grind if I'm honest.
The conditions in Sydney Harbour such a stunning venue, of course, and one which holds particularly happy memories for me as it was where won my first Olympic gold back in 2000 were tricky anyway, with racing cancelled on the first day due to high winds.
