The Sea Tow network has now expanded to the Sunshine Coast, one of the country's most popular boating areas. ‘Sea Tow Sunshine Coast' is based at Mooloolaba and provides support from Caloundra to Coolum. Sea Tow members can look forward to the full complement of Sea Tow services including free fuel drops, towing, prop disentanglements, dock to dock towing and more, provided via a customised fast response vessel equipped with state of the art instruments.
Sea Tow Sunshine Coast is headed by Wayne Panther who is supported by Luke Wilson and Scott Liddell. All essential Sea Tow services will be strengthened by the backing of Wayne's other enterprise, Marine Specialities Group. “We have always aspired to be a one-stop-shop offering the ultimate in products and services on land. Now we can do the same on the water,” Wayne said. “We have a great team of specialists to call upon.”
In addition to breakdown support, Sea Tow members on the Sunshine Coast can look forward to money saving discounts on marine products and services, from batteries to marine radios, even marine finance and insurance at members' only rates.
After seven years in Australia, the Sea Tow network is certainly growing from strength to strength. “Sea Tow offers its members something that no one else in the industry can – a network of committed and dedicated professionals who have a vested interest in their well being on the water,” says Capt. Matt Cummings, Operations Manager and Director of Sea Tow Australia.
This latest addition joins Sea Tow services operating in Sydney Harbour, Broken Bay, Botany Bay and the Georges River in the NSW, while in Queensland Sea Tow Gold Coast has been operating out of Booker Bay Marina at Horizon Shores, Woongoolba.
In fact the Gold Coast operation has been strengthened recently by the new ownership of Capt. Rick Maxwell who has more than two decades experience in the marine industry. He and Fiona Forrester are looking forward to providing boaters with exceptional service and the 24-hour peace of mind of knowing that a Sea Tow professional is only a phone call away.
