Batemans Bay off-the-beach regatta takes place at end of October

Because of the ongoing success of their Anzac Weekend Regatta, Batemans Bay Sailing Club (BBSC) now invites all sailors to participate in the inaugural Lake Coila, Tuross Head Regatta which will be held over the weekend of 31 October – 1 November 2009. This event is open to all multihull and dinghy classes and racing will occur on Coila Lake, south of Batemans Bay, NSW.

Coila Lake is a fantastic place to sail for monohulls and multihulls. It is a fully enclosed waterway with no traffic, yet exposed to all prevailing sea and land breeze without seaway effects.
The club has a strong and competitive Laser fleet but welcomes all other dingy classes and the multihull fleet of Hobie Cats, Maricats, Taipans and Nacra 5.8's and more.

The Sport and Recreational Complex is fully equipped for both administration and catering for this event and catering will be provided. A BBQ will commence Saturday 31 at the conclusion of racing.
There is a range of accommodation in Tuross Heads from camping to five star luxury.
The club has a fully accredited race management team and support craft. A full race committee, administration, infrastructure and race support will be provided by BBSC and other class officials.
