McKenzie and Toth finish the Star season in 16th

Paul Mckenzie and Philip Toth have finished 16th overall (10th nation) in the 2009 International Sailing Federation (“ISAF”) Sailing World Cup, despite forfeiting the last event in Weymouth, Great Britain. In the week immediately prior to Weymouth, McKenzie was busy sailing the Commodores Cup in Barcelona, with his sponsor Stephane Piot of McDonalds. The French comprising 3 boats including “Lovin It”, finished 2nd overall.

McKenzie said: “16th on the World Tour is a fair result for our first season. Next year we hope to be able to finance a complete season and really show what we are capable of. At the same time our opposition will all be stepping up their programs too, so it won't be easy. I'd like to take the chance to thank our sponsors for their support this season, with special thanks to Stephane Piot from McDonald's”.
