Traditionally dinghy sailing has all been about feel. MAX makes guesswork a thing of the past. MAX features a built-in, fast GPS and advanced 9-axis compass which generates accurate sailing data such as heading, speed, wind, and course over ground. In addition, MAX contains a ping function, countdown timer, distance, and time to start line. Ping the line and the #1 GPS in town will help you hit the right end of the line on time.
All data is presented on a clear transflective LCD display with anti-reflective front glass, for maximum viewability. Powered by a lithium-polymer battery for all day use with waterproof charging.
Numbers don’t lie
In addition to the technological and practical solution, MAX is the first sailing instrument with an accompanying app. The results are visualised in the app on a clear timeline and map.
The Sailmon app can be used to provide insight into, save or review data from training or competitions. Use the Sailmon app to improve your sailing and compare numbers with your training partners and competitors, but never let the truth get in the way of a good story!
Add wind
By connecting the Bluetooth, solar-powered, pocket-sized wind sensor, you can receive instant and accurate apparent and true wind readings.
Add to an existing system
With the smart NMEA 0183 / 2000 connector box you can connect MAX with any existing onboard system. This allows you to use existing depth, speed, and wind sensors as well as the compass and GPS from the Sailmon device, while being able to record and replay your data after sailing. The best of two worlds.
