After missing out last year, we are pleased to advise that the 8th running of the Inverloch Classic Dinghy Regatta is scheduled for the weekend of February 19-20, 2022.
Hosted by the South Gippsland Yacht Club, the regatta provides a great opportunity to showcase classic wooden sailing dinghies both on the beach and on beautiful Andersons Inlet, with races and activities planned over the two days.
Category and race prizes will be awarded on the Sunday afternoon and all boats that take to the water will be eligible. An informal dinner will be held at the club on the Saturday evening and lunch will be available both days.
To assist with planning in these strange times, entries are requested prior to 15th January 2022, together with any dietary requirements for lunch/dinner. In the event of forced cancellation, all entry fees will be refunded.
So, dust off your Aussie, British or wherever designed wooden dinghy and join us to celebrate sailing history over a cracking weekend and relive why many of us got into sailing in the first place!
