Attracting more than 51,000 attendees and 300-plus exhibitors, SCIBS is the southern hemisphere’s marquee marine event, showcasing over 600 boats and 1,000 marine products across four days.

This year’s action-packed event promises boatloads of immersive activities with live entertainment stages, fishing demonstrations, street performers and a fun-filled kids zone.

SCIBS 2022 early bird general admission tickets are available online now from $25pp, while children under 16 years have free entry.

Tickets booked online will also go in the draw to win a luxury trip to Hayman Island that includes a three-night stay with breakfast for two at the award-winning iconic InterContinental Hayman Island Resort with return flights and airport transfers.

Returning for SCIBS 2022 is The Lagoon Lounge, an ‘upper deck’ luxury destination for event attendees to live the superyacht lifestyle and the ideal corporate hospitality environment to entertain clients with a smorgasbord of delicious cuisine and premium beverages catered by the five-star InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort.

Due to overwhelming demand after a sell-out debut last year, The Lagoon Lounge will offer twice the space and double the exclusive boutique amenities with VIP Passes from $299pp and VVIP upgrade admission from $449pp.

The Lagoon Lounge occupies a prime location, overlooking the new Sanctuary Cove Superyacht Marina expansion with 48 purpose-built undercover berths for superyachts – a southern hemisphere first – and the iconic Lagoon Pool at the InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort.

InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort General Manager Matt Rippin said the five-star resort is thrilled to be back on board as the Hospitality Partner for SCIBS 2022, delivering gourmet catering across luxury exhibitor events and The Lagoon Lounge.

“We are proud to showcase our culinary expertise as Hospitality Partner and continue to elevate our premium food and beverage offering to build on the success of The Lagoon Lounge and provide an exemplary experience for VIP guests,” Mr Rippin said.

Presented by Mulpha Events, General Manager Johan Hasser said SCIBS 2022 would continue to surprise and delight event goers with show stopping moments from luxury experiences to the Show’s largest on-water display of marine vessels.

“The 33rd annual SCIBS event is our biggest show ever on water with a blockbuster line-up of industry-leading brands on show with everything from superyachts through to trailer boats and stand-up paddleboards plus the latest marine gear and gadgets,” Mr Hasser said.

“This year’s thrilling program of events promises something for everyone, including food, bars, street entertainment and a dedicated kids zone.

“We look forward to showcasing a raft of exciting new launches on water and within The Sanctuary Cove precinct for an unparalleled lifestyle event experience in 2022.”

Free Park ’n’ Ride services will be operating from Warner Bros. Movie World and Dreamworld, using a fleet of air-conditioned coaches, and there is also limited onsite parking at Sanctuary Cove, available to pre-purchase online with tickets.
