A strong fleet will compete in the Waszp European Games that begins today, April 13 and will run through until April 17. There are some quality names in attendance including majority of the top 10 from last year’s European Games in Garda.
Matt Beck (GBR) will be back to defend his title and kick off his 2022 Season in style. But he won’t have it his own way with many sailors putting in a lot of hours over the winter months.
The social side of the event has already got underway with the majority of sailors staying in the on-site accommodation and taking advantage of the southern Spain hospitality.
This is the perfect way to kick off the 2022 Season as attention will quickly turn to the major event of the year the 2022 International Waszp Games in Malcesine Lake Garda.
