Some Housekeeping

Club racing at Belmont will progress as usual alongside the Cherub States on both Saturday with the juniors, and Sunday where we will be sharing the water with the 16s. In light of this we ask our sailors to be patient and respectful in both the shared rigging ground and on the course.

A Change to the Sailing Instructions:

The Cherub course for Saturday will be a regular Cherub States short course of triangle/sausage/.
The course for Sunday has been changed to a Windward/Leeward course to minimise cross over between the Cherub and 16ft Skiff fleets. The Cherub course will be inside of the Skiff course. A diagram can be found below or on the website.

***All marks for Cherub racing will be a yellow cylinder with a red heart. 16ft Skiff marks will also be yellow cylinders (without Cherub logo).***

This will all be clarified to sailors at the competitors briefing at the beginning of each racing day at Belmont.

Arriving at the Club:All trailers must be parked in the carpark, not in the rigging area. The park across the road from the club is available for trailers unable to fit in the carpark. Once trailers are unpacked, the Cherubs are permitted to rig in either the Eastern, middle or Western rigging areas.

Any Cherub support boats must be launched from the Western jetty closest to the club. The Eastern jetty is for club support boats only.

Measurement:Competitors with sails to be measured can do so on Saturday morning between 9-11am before rigging at Belmont.
