Day two at the Copa Kitley GKA Kite-Surf World Cup was a thrilling day for all. The morning brought in some changes with more of a side-shore wind and lower tide, leading to cleaner waves for all riders. This resulted in some impressive scores throughout the day as each rider found their groove.
The world title contenders were focused and determined to perform at their best, leaving no room for error if they wanted to stay in the title race. Matchu Lopes, Airton Cozzolino, Pedro Matos, Moona Whyte, and Capucine Delannoy all advanced to the next rounds. Today marks the last day of competition here in Cauipe for the final and crucial Kite-Surf event of the year.
With all contenders still in for a chance, the men’s and women’s world titles are yet to be decided. Day three promises to be an exciting one, so make sure to tune in and witness the crowning of our event and world champions!
