  • Airton Cozzolino secured his first event win of the season, while Capucine Delannoy notched her second victory
  • Brazil was the final stop for the Kite-Surf discipline. The first Kite-Surf event of the 2024 season is scheduled to take place in Sal, Cape Verde

On Day Three, anticipation ran high as we expected the crowning of both the event and world champions. The final day of the 2023 Kite-Surf discipline calendar promised drama, tension, and excitement, not only for the beachside audience but also for fans around the globe, with so much at stake for numerous competitors.

Over the past two days, top riders faced challenges with conditions, but many turned it around when it mattered most. Although finding their groove wasn’t easy for everyone, the early hours of day three looked promising with favorable wind and waves.

The riders, crew, and spectators were more fired up than ever to witness greatness on this conclusive day of competition. Both Airton Cozzolino (ITA) and Moona Whyte (USA) secured their  World Championship titles by triumphing in the semi-finals.
