Zhik High Cut Ankle Boots
Updating a longtime favourite for sportsboat and dinghy sailors, Zhik’s high cut ankle boots offer great support and insulation. An entirely new moulded sole design and new rubber compound create a step change in levels of grip on wet decks.
A close fit is achieved using Zhik’s proprietary, egonomic lasts (boot moulds). Internally, the moulded sole, reinforced midsole, moulded heel cup and arch support all add structure to the boot. Working together with the new quick-lock side lacing system for easy removal and adjustment means you have a firm, close fitting, comfortable boot giving support for your feet and ankles. Whether trapezing, hiking or running across the decks, you can plant for your feet anywhere on board and rely on the secure and supportive grip.
Made from a 4mm neoprene and 2mm rubber upper boot, these boots are a great all-rounder and perfect for year round sailing. A streamlined ankle strap can be adjusted for excellent ankle support too. Slacken it off if you are crouching inboard in light airs, or tighten it up for extra support for full-on hiking up the last beat to gain that vital place in your race.
Zhik Lightweight High Cut Boots
Zhik’s lightweight high cut boots are designed for high intensity and active sailing. Particularly popular for foiling and high performance sailing, these boots have similar features to the standard high cut boots, with enhanced support and grip from a new moulded sole, quick-lock lacing system and ankle strap. Made from a 2mm neoprene and strong 1mm rubber upper, the boots allow you to feel the boat movement and dynamics. As well as secure foot holding, they give you great feel and contact with your boat.
Being lightweight, these boots are ideal for trapezing and sailing in warmer climates, on board dinghies, cats, foilers and sportsboats.
