Nacra 17 European Championships Day 3

Aussie sailors Ruben and Rita Booth are sitting in 5th with Brin Liddell and Rhiannan Brown just behind in 8th.

Four Races, Intense Competition!

The Nacra 17 European Championships brought excitement today as the fleet completed four races at the Sferracavallo Sailing Club in Palermo, mixing up the rakings. After calm winds stalled yesterday’s schedule, all 18 teams hit the water bright and early at 10 a.m. this morning for a great day of sailing. The technical skill and teamwork on display were nothing short of impressive!

Leaderboard Update 📊

The Dutch duo, Willemijn Offerman and Scipio Houtman, still hold first place. But today’s performance shook up the standings, with Italy’s own Gianluigi Ugolini and Maria Giubilei climbing to second, followed by Belgium’s Kwinten and Lieselotte Borghijs in third. Austria’s Laura Farese and Matthäus Zöchling are close behind in fourth.

A Global Competition 🌍

The event, organized by Sferracavallo Sailing Club along with Nacra 17 class and the City of Palermo’s Department of Tourism and Sport, has brought 18 boats and 36 sailors from 13 countries.

⚠️ Looking Ahead: Tomorrow’s first race starts at 10 a.m. with four more races on the schedule.
