Moreton Bay is playing host to hundreds of sailors this week as Australian Sailing and the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron (RQYS) co-host one of Australia’s premier Olympic and Invited class regattas, Sail Brisbane.
Taking place from Tuesday 17 to Saturday 21 December at RQYS, more than 230 sailors from around Australia and beyond are competing for titles across a diverse range of exciting classes, with sailors as young as seven sharing a boat park with Olympians throughout the week.
An integral event on the Australian Sailing calendar, Sail Brisbane is critical to the growth and success of junior and youth sailors, allowing the next generation to sail against their heroes.
Sail Brisbane is also hosting the 2024 Nacra 15 Open Asia Pacific Championship as part of the event.
