Women’s America’s Cup Match Race TODAY (Saturday)
Andoo Team Australia has been out cheering on the Puig Women’s America’s teams as they continue to race into the history books for the first ever Puig Women’s America’s Cup. Challenging conditions have continued to shift race schedules with a tough day of racing in the semi final producing the two Match Race contenders of Italy’s Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli team and Britain’s Athena Pathway .
Our Aussie squad have received warm messages of support from our Patrons John Bertrand AO and John Winning, alongside so many supporters who have been on the journey. As Bertrand said “You followed a dream”.
The “Dream” is now alive and ignited by the thrills provided in this AC37 competition and the potential for the future that has been established by our performance in both the UniCredit Youth and Puig Women’s America’s Cup. Our Board are already inviting interested discussions for the legacy and future for this campaign to take Australia back into the America’s Cup.
