Anonymous Australian sailor enters Global Solo Challenge

An Australian, who at this stage wishes to remain anonymous, has become the 32nd person to enter the 2023 Global Solo Challenge (GSC).

He will be competing in a 50 plus foot performance yacht. He has been in touch with the GSC for several months as his boat initially did not fit within the maximum performance criteria set out by the current Notice of Event.

Meanwhile, several other skippers have come forward asking if they would be allowed to enter the event on other racing boats such as on one-design racing boats, IMOCA 50s, and other Open 50s.
