SailGP has returned to the iconic waters of San Francisco Bay ahead of this weekend’s championship-deciding Mubadala SailGP Season 3 grand final!
Preparations for the eleventh and final event of Season 3 are well underway, with SailGP’s nine-strong F50 fleet gearing up for battle against the stunning cityscape of San Francisco. Tom Slingsby’s Australia is the only team currently qualified for the three-boat, winner-takes-all Grand Final, while New Zealand in second place look set to join them. However, the stage is set for a spectacular showdown between Quentin Delapierre’s France and Ben Ainslie’s Emirates Great Britain SailGP Team, which are just one point apart in third and fourth place respectively. Racing will take place at 2.30pm PDT on Saturday and Sunday, with the three-team shootout taking place on Sunday afternoon.
