Aussies in the front line at Long Beach

Australian teams Edake, Easy Tiger and Nutcracker have been dominating the 14-boat international fleet at the Farr 40 World Championship in Long Beach, California.

PRO John Busch and the race management team have run three races per day off Seal Beach, with courses of approximately 1.1 nautical miles. Conditions have been perfect, with sunny days and breeze ranging from 7-22 knots.

Jeff Carter’s Edake is sitting comfortably in third place and is the leading Corinthian team. The Sydney team won the first race of the regatta and was awarded Boat of the Day on Wednesday, remaining consistent across nine races.

Rob Davis and Andy Baker’s Nutcracker had a brilliant day on the water today, with scores of 2.2 4 moving them up the leader board to fifth place.
