Body of fisherman found after boat hits buoy in Central Queensland

The body of missing fisherman Jed Farraway has been found almost 10 hours after he was flung into the water when his boat crashed at Port Alma in Central Queensland.

Police believed Mr Farraway was returning from a fishing trip with three friends at about 7.30am Sunday when their boat struck a marker buoy.

The three other men were rescued, including a man in his 20s who was airlifted to the Rockhampton hospital in a serious but stable condition.

Another man in his 20s suffered leg and back injuries, while a man in his 30s had chest and leg injuries, and cuts to his face.
