Cherub NSW Sprint Series – Arriving at the Squaddy

Headed to the Sprints this weekend?

What to expect when you arrive

76 McDougall St, Kirribilli NSW 2061

Due to road closures in the area, McDougall Street will only be accessible via Willoughby Street near Pattons Slipway.

Trailers and boats can be dropped off and stored on the grass in the park beside the SFS.

Parking can be found on Clark Road Neutral Bay which is a short walk away and there are limited all day spots around the club so look out for signs.

If you or anyone you know is interested in volunteering on support boats for the regatta- please reach out to the Association.

If you have yet to register please do so at the link below. A reminder that those who have registered for the whole States Series have received entry to the Sprints for free so no need to enter again. Registration for the event will close at 12pm on the 23rd of November.

The Courses

The Sprint Series will consist of 10 races, 5 on Saturday and Sunday, with a target time of 25 minutes. The course will be a two lap Windward/Leeward course. A competitors briefing will be held at 11:30am on Saturday for more information. Access to the Notice of Race and Sailing Instructions can be found on the website or at the links down below.

Plans for the arvo

Stick around after racing at the club for a BBQ hosted by the Historical 18s, followed by drinks upstairs. It would be great to see all sailors having a beer and a chat at the end of the day over a snag!

On Sunday afternoon, as soon as convenient after sailing, we will be holding a presentation for the Sprint Series. We look forward to celebrating the end of a jam packed weekend and the winners who will be taking home the Sprint Series Title for this year.
