Over 450 sailors experienced the best sailing of its kind at one of the largest sailing regattas in Australia in 2014 and Yachting New South Wales is pleased to announce that Sail Sydney will be back in 2015 and will be better than ever.
With a backdrop of Australia’s iconic harbour, the racing is competitive and close as sailors from around the world try their hand against those who have local knowledge. From beginners to Olympians, the eye is on the podium with twenty different divisions taking to the water.
In 2015 Sail Sydney welcomes back Transport for NSW who acknowledge that this is an ideal venue for them to promote their safe boating messages which includes ‘Wear a Lifejacket – it never ruined a day on the water’.
Dates for racing will be November 23-26 for Olympic Classes and December 18-20 for Youth and invited classes, and the regatta will be hosted by Woollahra Sailing Club.
