The French trimaran, Maxi Edmond De Rothschild, repeated her performance from 2019 by rounding the Fastnet Rock first and going on to take line honours across the entire fleet, finishing in Cherbourg some 12 hours after passing the rock.
Behind her, the Monegasque supermaxi, Skorpios, in her debut competitive outing was the first monohull yacht to reach the iconic landmark, rounding the rock in the early evening; a remarkable first success for this freshly launched yacht.
