Entries are still open to the 49th Ronstan International Fireball Australian Championships.
The regatta is being sailed on the Brisbane Waters at Gosford Sailing Club, NSW from the 27th December 2014 through to the 3rd January 2015. The Fireballs have been to Gosford on a number of occasions and have always experienced close and exciting racing. In past years there has even been fires in the surrounding hills to make the Fireballs feel more at home. Hopefully we don’t see that this time.
This year Ronstan Australia is sponsoring the event. Fireballs have a long shared history with Ronstan as they have provided many specialised fittings that uniquely suit the rig and set up of the Fireball.
This year Ronstan will be providing some of its extremely popular sailing watches and timers as prizes for the sailors, including the highly sought after and stylish stainless steel version.
