Fourth Year of GWA at Mondial Du Vent

The season-opener of the GWA Wingfoil World Tour in the Surf-Freestyle and FreeFly-Slalom disciplines is set to kick off in Leucate, France. Mondial du Vent hosts the GWA for the fourth successive year. Mondial du Vent is France’s largest wind-sports event and sounds the starting gun for the GWA Surf-Freestyle and FreeFly-Slalom world title races. Spain’s Nia Suardiaz will begin the defence of her crowns in both disciplines. But French riders Orane Ceris and Kylie Belloeuvre will look to spoil the party. The US’s Chris MacDonald, Surf-Freestyle world champion, also hopes for a good start. But France’s Malo Guénolé and Bastien Escofet will have other ideas. FreeFly-Slalom title holder, Italy’s Francesco Cappuzzo, will find himself chased down by the France’s Titouan Galea and Oscar Leclair. Be sure to join us for all the action from 7—14 April.
