As the Qatar Airways GKA Kite World Tour concludes in Rio de Janeiro, the team is now moving on to the next destination on the calendar – Dunkerque, located in the northern part of France.
Freestyle world champions Mikaili Sol (USA) and Gianmaria Coccoluto (ITA) are prepared to compete in the upcoming five-day event on the shores of the North Sea. They aim to maintain their title defense as the GKA Freestyle Kite World Cup Dunkerque represents the midpoint of the season.
Both champions have secured one world cup victory each in this season. However, they have also encountered setbacks, failing to assert their dominance in the second of the two previously held events.
With the GKA Freestyle-Kite World Cup France now taking place in Dunkerque, on its extensive and spacious beachfront near Plage de Malo-les-Bains, these two competitors must secure valuable points as only two more events remain in the tour.
