- The final day of the competition was all about FreeFly-Slalom
- Oscar Leclair won the event in the FreeFly-Slalom discipline
- Francesco Cappuzzo claimed his first-ever World Title in the FreeFly-Slalom
- Nia Suardiaz once again claimed the event win and was crowned as a World Champion in the FreeFly-Slalom discipline
Four days of non-stop competition have been delivered during the final event of the GWA this year. During days one, two, and three the focus was mainly driven on Surf-Freestyle, however, attention on the last day focused on FreeFly-Slalom where winners were crowned one last time.
Nia Suardiaz had already won the World Title for FreeFly-Slalom in Denmark earlier this year, so coming into today was the woman to beat during the event. On the men’s side, the World Title this morning was still up for grabs, with three riders in for a shot. Francesco Cappuzzo, Titouan Galea, and Bastien Escofet all had the possibility of taking the title, however, it was Cappuzzo who ended up with the World Title in the FreeFly-Slalom discipline.
