Brest, France is set to host the much-anticipated GWA Wingfoil European Championships, which is expected to attract top wingfoil athletes from all over Europe. With 33 men and 4 women registered to compete in both the FreeFly-Slalom and Surf-Freestyle disciplines, the competition promises to be a thrilling event.

Fortunately, the weather forecast for the 5-day event looks fantastic, which is great news for both the competitors and spectators alike. With clear skies and steady winds predicted, the athletes will have ideal conditions to showcase their skills on the water.

On Day One of the competition, we witnessed an impressive performance from the athletes in the FreeFly-Slalom discipline, as one full elimination round was completed for the men and four for the women. Bastien Escofet and Flora Artzner emerged as early favorites, leading the rankings in their respective categories.
