The first Hanse 675 is ready to sail into the Australian and New Zealand markets with the Windcraft Group at the helm. This 21 metre (67 foot) high-tech, luxury yacht with an impressive 32 metre carbon mast is the largest yacht ever built by Hanse Yachts and Germany’s largest yacht build in series production.
Developed by leading designers, Judel/Vrolijk & Co, the elegant and sporty cruiser has the signature Hanse original self-tacking headsail and uncluttered deck layout, and an elongated teak foredeck and flowing roofline. Windcraft says buyers will enjoy a light-filled interior thanks to large hull windows and the panoramic roof with a section on deck that opens electronically.
Hanse yachts are celebrating some ‘firsts’ with this new model. Below deck the layout offers extra privacy for owners and guests with a separate crew entry on the port side of the cockpit, which leads to the galley area and spacious crew cabin with adjacent wet room. Another high-end addition to this model is the use of genuine stone in the bathrooms. The circular showers with stainless steel and fine wood veneer finishes create indulgent, spacious bathrooms.
In the large owners’ cabin the shelves and sideboards are mounted to “float in the air”. In the stylish saloon, there’s the addition of a card table with screen (to use as an office area), a coffee bar encased in the side wall and a temperature-controlled wine cooler.
Windcraft says the layout and entertainment systems are state of the art. “Guests can relax in the saloon as the kitchen and utility area is separated from the main living area. In the cockpit, there is an impressive multimedia package with three 21 inch screens for entertainment or plotting. Finishing touches, like hand-made leather and fine wood panels are all indulgences rarely seen in a production yacht.”
