Viana do Castelo, Portugal — The 2024 ILCA Under 21 World Championship in Viana do Castelo, running from July 1st to 8th, has completed the second day of the final series. The day was marked by very consistent sailing conditions, with wind starting from 335º at 12 knots and building up to 14 knots by the second race.
Another day with a good breeze brought fierce competition and stong winds, pushing sailors to their limits. In the ILCA 6 class, the leaders held their ground with remarkable consistency, maintaining their positions without surprises. Meanwhile, the ILCA 7 category witnessed intense battles among the top three contenders, each fiercely vying for the coveted first place.
Evie remains in 3rd place in the ILCA6 and Isaac has dropped a spot to 5th in the ILCA7. Good luck for the final days racing.
