The recently launched JPK11.80 “Bacchanal” achieves another podium in the Cabbage Tree Island Race. With success in the recent Bird Island race that makes it two Division 2 wins.
The JPK 11.80 shows great light air speed sailing in conditions that were mostly under 10 knots with the breeze swinging from East, North East to North West freshening on Saturday afternoon after rounding Cabbage Tree.
The upwind & downwind performance of “Bacchanal” was highlighted with a 3rd overall on IRC behind the two big Maxis.
With the Hobart next on the horizon the JPK11.80 has excellent small boat potential in all conditions.
