RangerBot is a novel, vision-based robotic tool developed by QUT to provide an extra set of ‘hands and eyes’ in the water.
RangerBot will help build a better understanding of the Gold Coast waterways below the surface. The GCWA team will use it for research, technical evaluation and monitoring in Gold Coast waterways.
The name must include the word ‘RangerBot’ and be symbolic of our waterways city and maritime industry.
The winning student will receive a family pass to Sea World and a 2.5 hour whale watching cruise (two adults & two children).
