Luxury yacht sinks due to fire

NSW Police are investigating how a yacht suddenly caught fire at a marina in Sydney's south early this morning (Monday) according to a Nine News report.

Emergency services were called to the marina on Fernleigh Road in Caringbah South at about 4am. Fire & Rescue NSW crews arrived to find a 40m long yacht well alight. It sank as attempts were made to put out the fire, police said in a statement.
