The 2022 MJ Nationals wrapped up yesterday on Pittwater after 3 days of sailing and lots of fun, which is what this class is all about. The 17 Open fleet entries and 8 Novice teams had a bit of everything to deal with, including a big Nor-Easter that gave the crews some great rides down the reaches.

Harrison Thomas and Chloe Jansen from Manly 16s won the Open division. Matilda King and Nixon Lydement also from Manly 16s won the Novices. It was great to see a couple of RPA teams with borrowed boats also getting in the mix.
A lot of these kids will head up to Port Stephens in a couple of weeks for the Flying 11 Nationals. Good luck to them all.
Final results can be found here.
