Mariner yacht rallies operate in a variety of exotic locations, with a crew that is as knowledgeable as it is passionate about exploring the world. Founded by a loving family of eccentric sailors and seasoned travellers, we relish the opportunity to help others realise their sailing fantasies.
For the uninitiated, the world of sailing can feel somewhat daunting. With different vessels and their respective configurations, as well as various destinations to choose from, it’s sometimes hard to know where to begin. You can book a cabin or an entire yacht, take a crew or sail solo. Adventure with Mariner or explore on your own. MBH aims to demystify the decision-making process for you, tailoring to match and exceed individual needs and assigning the highest possible value to your holiday experience.
The most popular sailing experiences are the yacht rallies, which take place in pre-determined destinations. A rally is a multi-vessel journey; a collaborative boat trip. You can join a rally by taking a cabin on a yacht, meeting other like-minded travellers, or you can book your own yacht from the fleet and travel with friends. In 2020 the eight rally destinations available are: French Riviera, Lycian Coast (Turkey), Sporades Islands (Greece), Northern Dalmatian Coast (Croatia), Dodecanese Islands (Turkey & Greece), Mallorca (Spain,) the Amalfi Coast (Italy) and Caribbean Islands early in 2021. If you do book your own yacht and travel with friends, MBH can either provide you with a skipper, or help organise the paperwork so that you can skipper yourselves (if preferred). Whichever option you choose, our hosts will provide you with continuous support throughout, organising fun races if you partake, and optional excursions along the way.
If you have a slightly different experience in mind, gulets are available for either private use or cabin charter within the Mediterranean (Turkey, Croatia and Greece). A gulet (pronounced goo-let) is a crewed motor sailing yacht, there is a sizable fleet for you to choose from. Each gulet comes with a professional crew (captain, chef, deckhands and hostess), ensuring that you have an ultimately relaxing and enjoyable time from start to finish. We even have a yoga gulet cruise available in 2020, taking place in Croatia during June – for more information please check out our website. Furthermore, we have cabin charters on luxury catamarans available worldwide where the only difference between you and a cruise ship is a couple of thousand people and the ability for you to access intimate amazing places away from the crowds.
