Multihull Solutions continues to go from strength to strength following its appointment as the exclusive importer and distributor for prestigious Sunreef Yachts in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.
The company has exclusive representation for many of the world's leading multihull brands including Fountaine Pajot, Trawler, Catana, Dolphin Catamarans and now Sunreef Yachts.
Sunreef Yachts specialises in luxury sail and power catamarans from 60 to over 150 feet in length. Planned in the smallest detail with an emphasis on comfort, style and safety, these exceptional yachts are designed especially for the clients seeking luxury, stability, innovative design, incomparable performance and generous space.
Established by Francis Lapp in the famous seafaring city of Gda?sk in Poland in 2000, Sunreef Yachts quickly revolutionised the yachting world by creating a new product on the market: the custom-made, large sized luxury catamaran.
Since then, the shipyard has launched a wide range of single and double-deck sail catamarans, power camatarans and state-of-the-art superyachts. There are now more than 40 Sunreef Yachts in international waters, and the brand continues to garner acclaim within the demanding industry of luxury yacht building.
Sunreef Yachts is in a continuous search for the most modern technologies, using only the very best of high tech gear available and introducing new practical solutions. In 2007 the company introduced Vacuum Infusion technology, which provides yachts with added strength while enabling Sunreef to build lighter boats, achieving weight stability curves with improved weight saving ratios while still maintaining the finest quality. This environmentally-friendly process also reduces building waste, which effectively minimises costs.
Sunreef Yachts is also one of the few shipyards in the world building semi-custom yachts using epoxy resin systems and high performance fibreglass products coupled with carbon reinforcement in high load areas.
The increasing international demand for Sunreef Yachts has led to the company's decision to increase its overall production capacity with the acquisition of 16 hectares land nearby Gda?sk. On this land over the next two years, Sunreef Yachts will create a new 25,000 square meter purpose-built manufacturing facility enabling the construction of yachts over 50 metres in length.
Multihull Solutions will showcase a scale model of the Sunreef 70 power catamaran at the 2009 Sydney International Boat Show from 30 July – 5 August. The Fountaine Pajot Lavezzi 40 and Orana 44 will be on display for inspections and test sails and there will also be scale models of the entire Fountaine Pajot and Trawler range and a Catana 47 model available for viewing.
Multihull Solutions will have a dedicated office on the Western Marina Arm at Cockle Bay Marina including a client lounge for visitors to relax in comfort while discussing their boating requirements with the team.
