Sixteen-year-old Jessica Watson is being sponsored by marine apparel brand Musto Australasia.The epic journey covering around 21,600 nautical miles and expected to take around 230 days to complete.
Jessica approached the Dee Why-headquartered company earlier this year seeking to have Musto apparel accompany her as she set out on her world record-breaking attempt.
In being named Jessica's official apparel sponsor, Musto provided the young sailor with a base wardrobe consisting of jackets, salopetts, drysuits, gloves and race footwear as well as HPX ocean jacket and trousers.
Musto has also launched a limited edition merchandise range targeted squarely at those interested in celebrating Jessica's journey. Featuring men's and women's polos, caps and rugby jerseys, the collection is available exclusively through Jessica's website at www.jessicawatson.com.au.
