The new 42DS is based on the same hull incorporating a completely new deck and cockpit and for the first time, an option of a 3-cabin layout.
The coach roof windows extend further aft and the hull now boasts six windows bringing more natural light into the interior. There is also the option of a German mainsheet system which brings the mainsheet back to windward at either wheel for easy adjustment.
The short-overlap jibs make for ease of tacking and aid visibility on crowded waterways, while the twin-wheel cockpit ensures the helmsperson has a great line of vision when sailing or docking. The layout also allows easy access to the swim platform.
The easily driven hull designed by renowned naval architect Marc Lombard.
Built in Jeanneau's ISO approved facility in France, the 42DS features the upmarket finishes for which the brand has become known.
