Official Award Ceremony of AEGEAN 600

On July 4th, in front of the Temple of Poseidon at Cape Sounio, Athens, 37 teams from all around the world, in both multihull and monohull yachts, started a 605 nautical mile non-stop race through the Aegean archipelago in the inaugural edition of the AEGEAN 600.

Sailors were challenged by winds of all extremes, tricky tactics and navigation and tough competition. A week later, on July 10th, an impressive outdoor closing ceremony was held at the Lavrion Technological and Cultural Park. Race organisers from the Hellenic Offshore Racing Club (HORC) have announced plans already for the second edition to be held over 8-16 July 2022. See you in July 2022!
