Outremer 45 in Australia and on display to view at Multihull Central

The Outremer 45, launched at the Cannes Boat Show in France only a year ago, is now on display at Multihull Central with an open day announced for Saturday the 7th of November, from 10am to 3pm.

The Outremer 45 is designed as a bluewater cruiser, purpose-built for sailing the world’s oceans in comfort and safety, Its high performance hull design is intended to reduce the passage making time and maximise time spent at the destination.

The Outremer 45 on display is a great example of this, with the owners having sailed from Europe to Australia across the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans.

The boat was designed by and in collaboration with, Outremer and Barreau-Neuman naval architects, Franck Darnet interior design and Patrick le Quement for deck systems and operations. The design features high and sleek hulls with generous buoyancy and a high bridge deck clearance for sailing in large seas. Inside, the Outremer 45 offers comfortable, luxurious living with four cabins, a saloon with 360 degree visibility and galley up. Plus a cockpit that offers an easy walk through from transom and cockpit table.

Outremer Yachts have won multiple European Boat of the Year awards in recent years. Its current range includes the new 45, a 51, the 59ft 5X, and the recently announced 74ft 7X.

Multihull Central was awarded Outremer International Dealer of the Year in 2014 to help launch the brand in Australia. Half a dozen Australian Outremer owners are now either cruising the world, or have boats on order. The company also distribute Seawind, Corsair and Aquila power catamarans.
