The world’s foremost yacht racing photography competition is now known as the Pantaenius Yacht Racing Image Award. This prestigious event will be significantly enhanced by the support and passion of Pantaenius, Europe’s leading specialist in yacht and boat insurance.
Hamburg and Geneva, April 8, 2025 – The Yacht Racing Image Award is delighted to welcome Pantaenius, Europe’s leading provider of boat and yacht insurance, as its new lead partner.
Founded in 2010, the photo competition dedicated to the sport of sailing aims to reward the best yacht racing images taken during the year and to celebrate their authors. It is the worlds premiere photo competition dedicated to the sport of sailing.

The 16th edition of the Pantaenius Yacht Racing Image Award is now officially open and yacht racing photographers from all over the world are kindly invited to submit their best image taken since October 14, 2024.
The best images selected by the event’s international jury will be exhibited at the Metstrade Show on November 18-20, while the prize giving ceremony will take place during the Yacht Racing Forum in Amsterdam on November 21 in front of the sports’ leading personalities from all over the world.
