PowerDive was created for those who enjoy the simplicity of snorkeling and would like to experience the wonders of breathing underwater. PowerDive is a unique, patented shallow water diving system, bridging the gap between snorkeling and scuba diving.
PowerDive is safe and easy and does not require certification although it is recommended you under take diver training prior to diving. Even if you have never snorkeled or have only basic swimming skills, PowerDiving is available for you.
PowerDive is easily accessible to couples, families, children eight years and older, and seniors. Our Powerdive equipment allows children as young as 8 years of age to participate. It is a great way for a certified diver to introduce non-certified partners to the underwater breathing experience.
PowerDivers breathe underwater by means of a 12 meter air line which is connected to a floating 12 volt compressor on the surface that follows your every movement. The airline allows you to tour underwater near the bottom, at mid-water or on the surface depending on your level of comfort. There is no heavy diving gear.
The sales outlet will familiarize you with the PowerDive equipment and run through the setup and diving practices of the PowerDive. If you are a first time PowerDiver it is recommended that you start in shallow water and take whatever time necessary to get comfortable breathing underwater. Once comfortable, you can then explore underwater world. During the dive you are never more than 12 meters from the security of the raft floating on the surface.
Given your location you will get the feeling that you are swimming in an aquarium surrounded by tropical fish and abundant marine life.
Not only is the PowerDive great fun for exploring the underwater world it is also ideal for underwater boat maintenance such as hull cleaning or propeller detanglement.
