Ronstan and Australian Sailing Team continue 50-year partnership

Australian Sailing and Ronstan have today announced that their 50-year partnership will continue after signing a new four-year agreement.

The agreement sees Ronstan continue as the Official Partner to Australian Sailing and the Australian Sailing Team in the sailboat hardware category, continuing their support of the team which dates back to 1970.

The partnership has been one of mutual support, and on the water has coincided with the golden age of Australian Olympic sailing where our athletes have won seven gold medals at the past four Games.

“We are incredibly proud to extend our long-standing partnership with Australian Sailing, built on shared values, a passion for sailing excellence, and mutual respect,” said Ronstan International’s Marketing Manager, Håkon Bergby. “It has been a privilege to support the Australian Sailing Team through its rise to success.

“As we look towards the Los Angeles Olympics in 2028, Ronstan is committed to playing our part, not just at the elite level but also by fostering grassroots sailing nationwide to help Australian sailors achieve their dreams and inspire future generations on and off the water.”

Ronstan’s support of sailing is well-known, and this time around it extends to the grass roots of the sport and across classes from dinghies to keelboats.

“We are absolutely delighted to announce that our long-standing partnership with Ronstan will be continuing,” said Australian Sailing CEO Ben Houston.

The new deal will see Ronstan’s growing range of keelboat hardware featured, as well as Ronstan products being made available as prizes at Australian Sailing’s key events including the state YouthSail regattas and the Australian Yachting Championships.

“This is one of the oldest such partnerships in our sport,” continued Houston.

“The Australian Sailing Team and Ronstan have evolved together as two great Australian success stories, and we look forward to sharing more wins with them on the road to the Los Angeles Olympics in 2028.”
