John Eren, Victorian Minister for Tourism, Sport & Major events, announced that Royal Geelong Yacht Club will host the following world championships during February and March 2020.
- 2020 49er world championship
- 2020 49er FX world championship
- 2020 Nacra world championship
- 2020 Laser Masters world championship.
The events will be supported by the Victorian Government ‘Visit Victoria’ major events committee.
